One of the reasons why I feel a sense of disgust towards NewsPicks and Gaiax is because they are similar to what What NewsPicks Provides is Information, Not Skills like Analysis refers to as 器用貧乏. This term describes the problem of not being able to create by oneself and lacking skills, as one can somehow manage with the reuse of existing things due to knowledge. Instead of providing the necessary skills for analysis and critical thinking, NewsPicks and Gaiax seem to focus more on providing information. This lack of emphasis on developing skills may be the reason for my negative feelings towards them.
